The Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation (IcExcellence) was launched in 2001 with a pioneering and innovative approach.
The foundation's goal is to identify the best artistic talents in Israel, in different fields of art, and support chosen artists en route to cultural leadership as well as local and
international excellence.
IcExcellence aims to strongly encourage a constant striving for excellence in Israel,
and wishes to emphasis the importance of culture in everyone's life.

IcExcellence Foundation expects a significant upgrading of Israel's artistic achievements in both the local arena and worldwide in the near future. We believe that our activities will dramatically enhance the quality and the quantity of our artists' accomplishments, and that many more Israeli artists will soon be widely identified with professional excellence. They will enrich our lives, ensure Israel's international cultural status, and serve as role models for future generations.
IcExcellence seeks out artists with proven artistic talent (but not yet fully accomplished or matured), high motivation, determination, and
a commitment to artistic life, despite its difficulties. They should bear the potential for a future leadership positions in their field or in the global cultural arena.
IcExcellence provides its chosen artists with advice, key skills and tools, and constant nurturing - in order to significantly upgrade their chances for successful careers. The artists are exposed to various empowerment and educational programs, and enjoy financial support for their tailor-made personal programs.
The initiative has been endorsed by Israel's leading personalities. Among our artistic committees members are many of Israel's top artists and cultural leaders, including five laureates of the prestigious Israel Prize.
IcExcellence and its founder Rachel Marani are the recipients of the "2003 Leadership Formation Award" by the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Israel, the Harvard Club of Israel, the Wharton-Penn Club of Israel and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Israel. This award salutes a project and/or individuals that are grooming young Israeli leaders and thereby helping promote constructive changes in society.
