The Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation (IcExcellence), launched in 2001, is based on an original, innovative model.
IcExcellence is a greenhouse - a protective yet challenging space that empowers artists.
The foundation´s goal is to encourage and expand Israeli excellence – at home and around the world.
We define excellence in its broadest sense – as embodying the values of greatness in life, which include responsibility, integrity and generosity. The ongoing journey and the process of striving for excellence are as important and meaningful as the final artistic achievement.
Israeli society needs to foster and fulfill values of excellence. We believe that art at its finest has the power to touch and lift the hearts of many, transcending differences of age, language and cultural origin.
Therefore, IcExcellence identifies and brings together Israeli artists of exceptional talent who have clear potential and the motivation for significant additional growth. We offer them a uniquely designed empowerment program that nurtures yet challenges them on their journey to higher achievements, personal greatness and cultural leadership.
These artists are enriching our lives and enhancing Israel´s international cultural status. Their continual embodiment of values of excellence in turn inspires many others – artists and audiences alike, thereby expanding the Excellence Effect.
