"The incredible work 'Two Playful Pink' leaves the audience amazed in face of its invention and talent. The greatest artistic accomplishment of this creation is its movement vocabulary: every move is legitimate, and Godder turns it into something fascinating, dangerous and surprising. "
Ruth Eshel, Haaretz, Nov. 16, 2003

Press Reviews
"Ordinary gestures of a man and a woman are changed into intensive and stylish dance that does not allow us to catch our breath. The tension that can be called “physical politics” shows her extraordinary talent as a choreographer."
Tatsuro Ishii, Japanese Dance Magazine, Feb. 1st 2007

"The Choreography, the dramaturgy, the interior rhythm of this work, has all been done with astonishing talent".
Ruth Eshel, Ha'aretz, Dec. 12th 2006

"In "Two Playful Pink" a bewitching duet...these gorgeous young viragos intentionally risk looking grotesque, but are never less than riveting to watch."
Donald Hutera, London Timeout, Nov. 20th, 2005

"The most sensational topic this festival was, “Strawberry Cream and Gunpowder... With no doubt, it is an excellent piece... It proved that this is powerful enough to make such a big difference among the audience. You saw different reactions among the foreign audience, such as those who have shown their uneasiness clearly, and those who were weeping with tears.."
Takao Norikoshi, Japanese Dance Magazine, 2005

...”The performance is permeated by intellectual pregnancy and consequentially ends with ironic elegance..."
Öjan Abraharmsson, The Daily News ( Sweden), Nov. 20th 2005

"The personal is political... Yasmeen Godder talks about something which touches all of us from the inside."
Gianni Manzella, il Manifesto, Italy

"The understanding that the piece is a personal-political work, in its most immediate and instinctive level, contributes to the perfect timing of its coming about on the landscape of current activity here."
Jacque Farber, Kol Ha'Ir, November 2004

"There are not many Israeli artists, neither in dancer nor in other disciplines, whose work raises so much anticipation, curiosity and suspense. In her unique way, Godder not only rose up to the expectations, but succeeded again to surprise, stir and challenge what is known and familiar... Godder forces Israeli dance to redefine the borders of sensitivity, themes and even the make do with strawberry cream. The smell of gunpowder will accompany the creative performers and us, the audience, wherever we go."
Gilad Reich, Globs, November 2004

"...a fist in the stomach, thought provocative, detailed, original, and direct...a powerful experience, a tour de force."
Gabi Aldor, Ha'Ir, Nov. 20, 2003

"The audience enjoyed her sense of humor very much, which is so serious that it looks funny... Godder uses deformity as a tool, and works it into a masterpiece -
which is insatiable."
Merav Yudolevich, YNET Culture, Nov. 17, 2003

"...the dancers are not dancers only: they are both marvelous acrobats and actors at the same time...I should never have believed it possible....an excellent and deeply
moving show."
Koznevles, Hungary

"For sheer emotion and drama, one couldn't beat Yasmeen Godder's dance/performance piece 'Hall.'"
Jeffrey Day, The State, S. Carolina, May 2003
